Do I put up a brave face, or a brave heart?
We might be able to discover the best food,
or the best place to be,
or the best education,
or the best of friends,
but will we ever discover the best person we should be?
If you lose something but never realised it,
does it still counts?
Apparently each steps bring us to different paths,
so will you ever choose to walk the same path again?
No human being has ever lived a life free from personal hurt
and pain. More than often, it hurts us deeply. Especially those
that come from relationships revolving around us.
The reality is that we are all imperfect and can never satisfy
even those we love the most. We will hurt others, and they
will hurt us. I begin to question, then what for to love?
As I wrestled with feelings of hurt, Jesus's example of
unconditional love reminded me that to love, is a command.
"I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just
as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for
each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples."
John 13:34-35
So is forgiveness.
"Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone
who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you
must forgive others."
Colossians 3:13
Even when you loved and was not loved back in return? Lord
I still must forgive?
"Don't say, 'I will get even for this wrong.' Wait for the Lord to
handle the matter."
Proverbs 20:22
In a way, I feel like Im learning to live again.
I guess it really helps to remember we're all human.
It also reminded me to seek a more perfect relationship with
the God who will never hurt or disappoint us.
